Home is the place where the child procures her first lesson and foundations are laid to become a good human being. Various aspects of the personality like character building, developing relationship etc. commence from home. School education indeed promotes their traits, aids discovering and nurturing other potentials of the child. In order to secure maximum exposure and progress of the child and evolve her as an all-round developed human, a healthy communication, co-operation and co-ordination between the parents and school is essential.

  1. Every student must bring her school diary daily to the school, without fail.
  2. The school gates open at 8:15 AM. The students availing their own transport should reach the school after 8:15 AM and at least 5 minutes before scheduled school time i.e. 8:45 AM. Coming late is not allowed and the school gates will close at 8:45 AM. Coming late to school repeatedly will lead to disciplinary action.
  3. A neat and complete school uniform on all school days as well as parent teacher interactions and at all school functions is a must. It includes done up hair and trimmed nails. Long hair must be neatly done in two plaits.
  4. Care should be taken not to disfigure or damage school property. No student should indulge in graffiti/scratching or spoiling the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture, write or draw anything on walls or in any way damage the belongings of other students. Any damage or loss to school property due to wanton destruction or carelessness of a student will lead to imposition of fine and recovery of cost.
  5. Books, notebooks, assignments, projects etc. should be well labeled and brought according to the time table and the diary note given by teachers. The name, standard and section of the pupil needs to be prominently marked on all the articles of the student including school bag, uniform, shoes and socks. NO books (other than text books or library books), magazines, CD/DVD/pen drives/hard disks or periodicals may be brought to school without permission.
  6. Students are not allowed to bring mobiles or electronic gadgets, razor blades or sharp edged instruments like scissors to the school.
  7. The school is not responsible for articles/personal belongings lost by the student. Students are not allowed to bring valuables (Gold, precious ornaments) to the school. Lending, borrowing money and exchange of articles is also not allowed.
  8. Students are not allowed to buy anything from street vendors/hawkers.
  9. Parents/guardians are not permitted to enter the class room to meet their wards or seek unscheduled meetings/interviews with teachers during school hours. In case of emergency, parents are requested to contact the school reception.
  10. No student is allowed to leave the class or school premises during school hours without the permission of the class teacher and the in-charge (Half day leave is not allowed).
  11. The school insists on the maintenance of strict discipline. Any child who violates the set rules of school discipline will not be allowed to attend the school.
  12. Any item like lunch box, pencil box, project work etc. shall not be accepted to be delivered to the student during school hours.
  13. No student shall be allowed to apply mehandi or get tattoos or their hear streaked/coloured.
A Checklist For Parents
  1. Kindly ensure that your ward carries her diary daily to the school. You are expected to go through it everyday to keep yourself well informed with the latest development regarding your child’s learning.
  2. Every child is issued an I-Card from the school. For the safety of your ward please ensure that she wears the I-Card daily to the school.
  3. In order to have fool-proof security, we have a system of parent/guardian I-Card. Parent should carry this I-Card whenever they come to school or collect the child from the bus stop. In case of loss of the same, the parent must inform the school authorities immediately. Parents of private van users would have to get an additional I-Card made from the school office.
  4. Parents need to go through the circulars sent by the school and take prompt action on them.
  5. Students are expected to appear in all unit tests and examinations as re-tests for the same will not be re-scheduled.
  6. Leave record pages must be duly filled in.
  7. Parents must attend the parent teacher interactions regularly as it helps to keep abreast with the level of their child’s learning.
  8. Any change in the address or telephone no. must be intimated to the school office promptly.
  9. Keep a track of your child’s performance in class tests, unit tests and examinations and send the answer scripts duly signed at the earliest.
  10. To inculcate competency in spoken English, all students must converse in English while in school. Parents need to create conducive environment at home to improve their ward’s conversational skills.
  11. Parents must check their wards if they pick up foul, abusive and unparliamentary language/habits.
  12. No expensive gifts, aerated drinks or cakes should be sent for distribution on birthdays. Though students till Grade-II may come in party clothes.
  13. Sending gifts/sweets etc. for fourth class employees (conductors, drivers maids etc.) is strictly not allowed.
  14. Send along a healthy and complete meal in a properly packed tiffin box to avoid spoiling of books and other material in the bag.
  15. If the parents wish to arrange their own private transport for the child to commute, they must ensure that all rules laid down by Hon’ble Supreme Court are adhered to and that the vans/vehicles are not over crowded and are safe for the students’ travel. Please ensure that police verification of the van drivers is done. Parents of van users are requested to collect the proforma for verification of drivers/owners of the van from the school office and submit the duly filled proforma with police verification within a week’s time period. Also note that the responsibility of the school ends at the school gate in such cases.
  16. Please do not send your ward to school if she is not well. Students will not be allowed to attend school or write any examination/test during illness.

  1. To meet our charter of partnership with parents, the school has finalised a system through which parents receive an SMS on the day their child is absent. The SMS will not only serve to confirm that your child is not at school, but also help parents to officially verify such an absence as required by the Government.
